Our Story

Welcome to Women Are Heroes Too: Nurturing Healing, Employment Empowerment & Community for Women Veterans

Here at Women Are Heroes Too, we've created a haven, a sanctuary exclusively for our women veterans and their companion. These brave individuals have not only worn the uniform of our country but also carry the roles of sisters, aunts, mothers, and cherished companions. Our goal is to forge an unbreakable sisterhood, a tribe where connections to inner peace and healing are nurtured.

We recognize that the path to healing isn't always linear, and not every woman gets the chance to address the emotional pain and hidden traumas they've endured.

And that's not all. At Women Are Heroes Too, we're not just interested in being part of your journey; we want to walk alongside you every step of the way. Through our partnerships, we provide opportunities for employment, ensuring that you have access to meaningful job prospects that align with your skills and aspirations.

Happy Women Veterans Day

Honoring Our Heroes: A Heartfelt Tribute on Women Veterans Day

June 12, 2025

Today, on Women Veterans Day, we pause to honor the remarkable women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. These women—brave, resilient, and dedicated—have stood on the front lines, worked behind the scenes, and contributed in countless ways to the defense and service of our nation.

This day is more than just a mark on the calendar. It's a time to recognize and reflect on the courage, strength, and sacrifices made by women who chose to wear the uniform. For many years, the stories of women veterans were often overlooked or underrepresented. But today, we acknowledge their essential role in shaping the military as we know it—and the nation they’ve so fiercely protected.

From World War II nurses and pilots, to commanders in modern-day missions, women have broken barriers and paved the way for future generations. Their service comes with the same risks, responsibilities, and burdens as their male counterparts—and yet, many have had to fight for recognition both during and after their time in uniform.

Women Veterans Day serves not only as a celebration, but also as a reminder: we must continue to listen to, learn from, and lift up the voices of women who have served. Their experiences matter. Their contributions matter. And their legacy is something we all benefit from.

To every woman veteran—thank you. Thank you for your commitment, your sacrifices, and your unwavering dedication to this country. Your strength inspires us. Your resilience humbles us. And your service will never be forgotten.

Let us all take a moment today to reach out, express gratitude, and support the women veterans in our communities. Whether it's through a simple "thank you," attending a local event, or advocating for better veteran services, every gesture matters.

Happy Women Veterans Day. We honor you, we celebrate you, and we thank you—from the bottom of our hearts. 💖🇺🇸
