Juneteenth

Juneteenth is a day of remembrance, reflection, and celebration of freedom. Observed on June 19, it honors the end of slavery in the United States and recognizes the strength, resilience, and contributions of generations of Black Americans throughout history.

It is a reminder that freedom, equality, and justice are not just ideals — they are responsibilities we must continue to protect and uphold for future generations.

Today is also a time to celebrate culture, community, progress, and the voices that have shaped history through courage, perseverance, and hope in the face of adversity.

As we honor Juneteenth, may we continue learning from the past while working toward a future rooted in unity, compassion, opportunity, and understanding for all.
